Meet our Doctors
Tristan Wild OD
Our very own, Dr. Tristan Wild, is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. Dr. Wild graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in 2009. There she was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society and completed rotations in the treatment and management of ocular disease and vision problems.
Dr. Wild has a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University, where she studied Biology and Chemistry. Before that, she graduated from Lake Travis High School. She enjoys seeing all the familiar faces from her hometown as well as getting to meet those newer to the area.
In her free time, Dr. Wild enjoys reading, running, planning travel with her husband and family, and watching her two daughters play various sports.
Of particular interest to Dr. Wild is the relationship between ocular health and systemic health – or the health of the entire body. We discover so much about our general health by looking at the eyes, and she’s likely to engage you on that topic during your exam.
Dr. Wild welcomes patients of all ages for routine care (glasses, contact lenses, general wellness exams), acute care (infections, injuries, irritation, etc.), and chronic disease management (glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc.).
Nancy Stehlik OD
Dr. Nancy Stehlik was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Texas while in high school. She attended Southwest Texas State University for undergraduate, followed by University of Houston College of Optometry. In 1983, she graduated Gold Key Honor Society from UHCO before moving to Austin and practicing in a group practice.
Soon after moving to the Austin area, she started her own practice, Lakeway Vision Associates, in 1985. After 37 years of owning the practice Dr. Stehlik transferred ownership to Dr. Wild. Dr. Stehlik is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. She has also participated in volunteer eye care with MEDICO for number of years in Honduras.
Dr. Stehlik enjoys spending her free time with her husband on outdoor adventures and traveling to visit their three grown children.
Dr. Stehlik takes pride in helping her patients with all their eyecare health and visual needs.
