Dr. Nancy Stehlik, O.D.

Dr. Nancy Stehlik was born in Chicago, Illinois. While in high school, Nancy moved to Texas where she graduated from Seguin High School. After graduation, she attended Southwest Texas State University where she earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Biology, with honors. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated Gold Key Honor Society from UHCO in 1983. She opened Lakeway Vision Associates in 1985.

Dr. Stehlik is a current member and former board member of the Texas Optometric Association. She has received a number of service awards from the TOA, the most memorable being the Mollie Armstrong Public Service award in 2009. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Stehlik is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

Dr. Stehlik is married with three children. She and her husband enjoy outdoor activities as well as watching their children’s sports events. Both Dr. Stehlik and her husband have been on numerous medical mission trips with M.E.D.I.C.O to Honduras. They are both former board members of M.E.D.I.C.O as well as current Emeritus Board Members. She is a current member of Lake Travis Lions Club and a former President of the Club.


Dr. Tristan Wild, a native Austinite, grew up in Lakeway and graduated from Lake Travis High School. Upon graduation, she attended Baylor University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Chemisty and membership in Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society. After college, she attended Southern College of Optometry, in Tennessee, and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Beta Sigma Kappa honors.

While attending Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Wild completed three clinical rotations where she received advanced training in ocular disease, minor surgery, peri-operative care, contact lens fitting, and low vision prescribing and rehabilitation. She was presented with the Designs for Vision, Inc. William Feinbloom Low Vision Award for her work with patients in a low vision specialty clinic.

Dr. Wild is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

Dr. Wild is married, with two dogs, and is expecting her first child in September 2012. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, playing guitar, and hiking with her dogs.
